Description

High quality soft touch momentary footswitch
Pleasantly light pressure resistance, no clicking noise
Normally Open (for most effect pedals)
Function configurable with mini switches
among other things used for controlling the tempo of delay and modulation effect pedals

Standard (Normally Open)

This version works with all effect pedals that support an external momentary footswitch (except Boss and Roland effect pedals) - as a tap tempo pedal or, for example, as a bank manager for The GigRig G2 / G3.

By default, the Aux-Tap Single connects tip to sleeve (like all other tap tempo pedals), it can then be used with a regular mono cable (TS).

It can also be used with all effect pedals that are compatible with a 2-way switch or a (diode-isolated, no Strymon) 3-way switch.
The mini switches allow you to configure which of the two or three footswitches the Aux-Tap Single represents - it then requires a stereo cable (TRS).

Mini switch 1 ON: Connect tip to sleeve
Mini switch 2 ON: Connect ring to sleeve
Both mini switches ON: Connect tip & ring to sleeve

The configurability also makes it compatible with some effects that expect proprietary switches:

Strymon (Tap-Tempo - not Favorite): Both mini switches ON - compatible with Strymon BigSky, Deco, DIG, Flint, Mobius, TimeLine and Volante
TC Electronics Flashback 2: Mini switch 2 ON - the Flashback 2 must be configured in the editor to use an external tap tempo footswitch
