Description

To unlock the full potential of many effects and to simplify operation, you need an aux switch. The Aux-Tap Double can be configured in various ways so that it is compatible with (almost) every aux-capable effect.

The Last Aux Switch You’ll Ever Need!

The Aux-Tap Double is connected to a compatible effect via the socket on the left side using a stereo cable (TRS) - the socket on the right side is not used.

If a simple tap tempo footswitch is connected to the right socket using a mono cable (TS), the Aux-Tap Double becomes an Aux-Tap Triple.

The functionality of the two footswitches does not change, but three footswitches can now be used with effects that support three external footswitches (e.g. from Strymon, Meris, Digitech, etc.).

Well thought-out design

Thanks to the custom-designed aluminium enclosure, Aux-Taps have a place on every pedalboard - preferably in the first row.

The very high-quality and quiet footswitches are easy to operate thanks to the sufficient spacing and slight forward tilt.

All connections are located on the sides so that effects can be placed directly behind the Aux-Tap - they are also easy to reach thanks to the enclosure height of less than 3 cm. The connections are offset slightly inwards in the enclosure so that the jack plugs do not protrude far.

Works with (almost) any aux-able effect

The mini switches on the back can be used to switch between four aux circuits.

Standard

The most common aux circuit that the majority of manufacturers use with their effects. The footswitches connect tip and ring to sleeve. The optional external footswitch connects tip + ring to sleeve.
Compatible with Eventide, Digitech, Electro Harmonix, Morningstar and many other manufacturers - in the "Tap & Aux Switches" category you will find a table with compatible effects.

Strymon

Identical circuit as a Strymon MultiSwitch - compatible with Mobius, BigSky, BigSky MX and TimeLine.

The functions of the individual footswitches depend on the mode selected on the effect:

Red Panda

Compatible with Red Panda Tensor, Bitmap 2, Context 2, Particle 2 and Raster 2.
Miniswitch 4 sets whether the two footswitches correspond to footswitches A & B or A & D on the Red Panda Remote 4. Depending on the connected Red Panda effect, there are different modes of operation (see the original manual).
