Arcade was born out of my own desire for exactly this kind of expression controller – and it’s now available here as well.
Features
Joystick
The joystick is an expression controller for two external effects (connected to the X and Y outputs). The joystick controls the expression value of one effect along the X-axis and that of the other effect along the Y-axis. Since the joystick can be moved freely, both values can also be changed simultaneously.
Using mini switches inside, each output can be individually configured as a TRS expression (compatible with most effects) or as a TS expression (compatible with Line 6 and Eventide).
Arcade Buttons
The two momentary buttons A and B each have their own output jack and connect Tip to Sleeve (like most external tap-tempo switches). They can be used to control external effects (e.g., tap tempo or preset switching, depending on the features of the connected effect).
Using mini switches inside, the buttons can also be configured individually as Kill Switches – when a signal is routed through the corresponding jack via an insert cable, pressing the button mutes the signal for a stutter effect.
Compatibility
Compatible with 99.9% of all effect pedals with an expression input (except for the few listed at the end of the expression category).
