Many effect pedals allow external footswitches to be connected to them. The TapTap! Strip is an ultra-compact solution to integrate several of these external footswitches into one enclosure - which fits in the front row of your pedalboard. Due to the very low height, all effect pedals behind remain easily accessible.
The TapTap! Strip is just 30mm deep and 20mm high (enclosure dimensions), with the built-in footswitches it is approx. 36mm high - significantly less than most effect pedals.
Where jack sockets are mounted, it's depth is 50mm.
The TapTap! Strip is basically available in any width. For example, you have a Strymon Timeline, a DOD Rubberneck, an Amp Channel Switch, and a Boss LoopStation? Then a TapTap! strip with 8 momentary footswitches and one latching footswitch is the solution for you.
There are the following available "modules":
Single momentary footswitch:
- Normally Open (e.g. as a tap tempo switch for many effect pedals)
- Normally Closed (e.g. as a tap tempo switch for boss delays)
Double momentary footswitch:
- Normally Open (e.g. for Source Audio Nemesis and many other pedals)
- Normally Closed (e.g. for Boss Loop-Stations, Boss ES-8, Boss DD-500 etc.)
Triple momentary footswitch:
- Strymon Multiswitch clone
- Diode configuration (e.g. for DOD Rubberneck, Eventide H9, GFI Specular Tempus etc.)
Quadruple momentary footswitch:
- Meris Preset Switch clone
- Red Panda Remote 4 clone
A latching footswitch (e.g. to switch the channel of the amp) can also be installed. A wide variety of configurations (e.g. for Orange amplifiers, etc.) are possible, and double foot switches are also possible.
The individual footswitches of the TapTap! Strip are about 63mm apart.
A sufficient 2mm thin DualLock is included with the strip for attachment to the pedalboard.
The width of the strip is (number of buttons x 63 mm + 10 mm).
It is best to contact me before you place your order and together we will discuss the best solution for you.
