All Looperwerk products with 3PDT foot switches (also called true bypass switches) only use a very high-quality, smooth-running and tried-and-tested model.
With the new SwapSwitch, the same high-quality foot switch is now located on its own small standardized circuit board and is plugged onto the main board with gold-plated contacts.
The reason why I introduced the SwapSwitch is not because foot switches often fail (that has happened less than 10 times in all these years), but because they are very difficult to replace in this case.
If a SwapSwitch needs to be replaced, all you have to do is remove the nut and the SwapSwitch can be easily pulled out of the enclosure and a new SwapSwitch installed - with absolutely no soldering required.
To start with, the ABC Switch, Single Looper and Volume Switch use the SwapSwitch, and over time it will also be used in other products.
